I really really loved the beginning and the end of this book. The middle chunk I found almost frustrating to read because I thought the characters had become so unlovable. I had so much emotion towards them which I suppose shows how well they were written. Once I got past this I was speeding along to finish the book. The ending was heartbreaking and so well written, David Nicolls did a fantastic job and writing a story with such an unconventional ending. I’m sooo excited to watch the tv series version of this now!
