So Thirsty is a sharp, bloody, and wildly entertaining ride about women who are done being invisible. Beneath the vampire chaos and some surprisingly gruesome scenes, this is a story about friendship, self-worth, and reclaiming the parts of yourself you were told to shrink, hide, or give up.

It’s bold and unapologetic, filled with women who are messy, powerful, angry, and real. There’s a strong undercurrent of rage and liberation running through it—especially for those who’ve felt sidelined as they’ve gotten older. These women don’t just rediscover themselves—they take themselves back, sometimes literally.

That said, the only frustrating part was how incredibly stupid the main characters could be at times. Like, shockingly poor decisions in the face of danger or obvious red flags. It didn’t ruin the story, but it did make me want to shake them more than once.

Still, the heart of the book—female friendship, refusing to settle, and choosing to be seen—shines through. Gory, funny, heartfelt, and a little unhinged—in the best way.

I loved it.
Dont get me wrong, I love Sapphic romances. I love a lil quiet gay moment. But this book showed genuine feminine friendship that didn't have romantic undertones and I really, really appreciated it.

Hard to rate this story because it was first and foremost so not what I was expecting. Definitely points for suprise and originality. What bugged me the most was
how the hell did we not get a proper confrontation with the husband?!!
And I didn't understand the ending:
Did Naomi die and Sloane fled into a dream? Was the happily undead ever after real or not?!

What I did love was the exploration of middle age, especially as a welcome contrast to all the common teenage and near-teenage protagonists in vampire stories. I was positively surprised by all the existential questions this grown-up was asking, although I ultimately wanted her to shut up and just enjoy the eternal unlife....
