My first time reading this author

I RARELY do more than rate books but I really liked this one. Hopefully, the next book I read will be just as good or better. I would definitely recommend this book to my friends.

I love Hawke from the Borden series and really wanted more of Tyler.. this book answered a lot of questions for me from Bordens' 3rd book. Tyler and Hawke are made for each other. It is definitely a slow burn to start off with a lot of sexual tension.
Really hoping Hector gets a book.

MC Romance. Has potential for a good series. Tyler I found annoying and I didn't feel the chemistry between the hero and heroine. The MC story was not bad. I don't think this book is as good as some other MC romances like Kristen Ashley or Susan Fanetti, so this one gets 3 stars. Wouldn't be in a rush to try anything else at the moment by this author.

*4.5* It could have been the timing, but this book hit just right.
“I know love is home, and I feel it most when you’re with me.”
Hawke is messy perfection. Tyler would have completely annoyed me with her neediness, but she was so pure her character just worked. This one will definitely be re-read.

This was supposedly a standalone, but it really didn't feel like one. You're dropped in the middle of the story and I kept feeling as if I was missing context.
