I loved this. It was sweet and tragic but hopeful. I didn't realize when I started reading it that it was going to be a

Little Mermaid

retelling but I loved that and there were some fun reinterpretations. The cameo with Cinder was cute but I hoped for a tiny bit more dialogue between the as I ended up loving both characters so much.
