I did not get on with this book at all. The writing style just wasn’t for me, far too over descriptive and it just didn’t work for me at all. It was ok, but felt it would’ve been half the length and still told the same story.

A little more than you typical Christmassy Rom com special... but a lot of pages focusing on hat making. The main character, Ava Bliss, is a milliner, a bespoke at maker.

This one was nice, but not really special for me.
I could have done without the sex scenes (thankfully only 1,5 ones, but quite cringe worthy), also I didn't think the guy to be "perfect" as I think I was supposed to. I thought him rather easily offended and quite sure of himself - and not in the good way.
If he was meant to feel like that it would have been fine, but I had the feeling I should really have thought that is just what I'd want...
It didn't bring up that special "christmassy" feeling, but felt like a normal chick lit that just took place around Christmas.

Tiny mini spoiler about an underlying topic that not everyone might like:
It also has an interesting topic with a drunk ex-boyfriend who has intimate pictures and is bothering the main character a lot.

I really did like this walk first Christmas book I've read it's about out a girl who is getting blackmailed by her ex who is a drunk his name is Harvey he has some pictures of her naked and he's doing everything he can to blackmail her to come back to him but Sam won't like that happened what do you find out what's going on he helps her Harvey keeps on telling her that he's going to send the pictures to her dad who is an ex copper this book is just basically about how they help her to get out of this situation and how her and Sam start falling in love with each other she also makes hats off

A great Christmas themed contemporary, a nice mix of drama and fun with loveable characters, has a happily ever after which gave me all the feels
