The writing was beautiful and made the heart aching situations slightly easier to read. Jude St Francis will have a small place in my heart for the foreseeable future. As I have seen in other reviews, this book is definitely impactful but it cannot be recommended lightly due to the content.

I love this book, so, so, so much. I have read it, loaned it to a friend, and never got it back. Even still, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. So, I found it at target and read it again. This book is truly disturbing and sad. However, it is still amazing.

Please do not recommend this book to others without a strong content warning. The writing is beautiful, exquisite even, but the content is incredibly triggering. 

I'm not sure the pay off was worth it for me. I had to put this book down so many times due to the content that it put me in a reading slump. I wish I DNF'd.

This book is painful to read. It's about abuse, rape, psychological issues, self harm and eating disorders. But it's also about four friends that start their adult life together in New York and who stay friends through life.
I almost felt like stopping when I had four hours left because it got a bit to much. But I persisted as i had to know the ending still. That said, it was a bit to long.
