I read this book simply because I know the author. I have to say, as a person with zero connection to the bike-racing world (besides Jamie), I found it to be interesting and readable. There were parts that were laugh-out-loud hilarious and parts that were technical, but what I appreciate about Jamie's writing style is how straightforward it is. I even found myself wanting to go watch a bike race now that I would be able to understand what was going on...and I can't say that's a strong urge I've ever had in the past. So, the book did it's job, but it was enjoyable along the way.

Interesting. I did learn a little bit about bike racing but had figured most of it out already.
