I really needed to take a step back from this series after the last instalment. It was only after an extended break that I could truly enjoy Target, and in a way, it's just not the same. I did enjoy it though, and towards the middle I was back to feeling the suspense I'm used to when reading the Death Note books.
Not sure what I think about the newest storyline. It's good enough to continue but the lack of a certain character causes this volume to suffer.

Dang, it's like L never dies. I honestly like Near, but I'm on Kira's side in this. I just hope Kira continues to outsmart everyone, but sadly, I doubt that'll happen.

A little slower than the past ones. Still good, but less thrilling. Hope it will get it's old rythm and action back in the next one.
