Anoter Shinigami appears, Shidou. Things are getting interesting again :D
I'm sticking around for the mind games at this point. L's successors are proving an interesting challenge for Light and I'm loving the rapid fire jumping back and forth between playing N, the Mafia, Misa, the Death Gods, and the Americans. He's getting a lot colder (I mean he used to care a lot more for his family or maybe he's just shut down in the presence of having to save them) and I just am waiting for Misa to have an epiphany about all this.

Things haven't been the same since L died. Also I really hate Mello, looking at him makes me roll my eyes. Near is basically small L, but I don't necessarily mind that they're so similar because L was likable.

habis menikmati aksi yang bikin jantung berdegup kencang sepanjang buku, bab akhirnya bikin aku jingkrak-jingkrak gak karuan. bukan... bukan karena pasukan khusus amrik yang gagal (i'm soooo sorry for their deaths, my sincere condolences), tapi karena rencana Light ternyata bisa gagal juga!! sukuriiiin kau Light. #apasih

This was a relatively good volume. The new characters are the main plot in this volume and it was odd to get to know them after the major events of the previous volume. I am still iffy about these new characters but I am a sucker for fictional people so I'll probably end up loving them.
It does not look good for Light at this moment! I still really miss L and I want him back in the story. Still not sure how I like the new characters yet, all I know is that Light is going to have his hands full. I do feel bad for Misa because Light is using her so badly, it's kind of sad.
