Short Review:
Haven't read the other books, so at times it was confusing, but I got through it and I understood most of it.
This was a really fun and short book about 2 girls who go out. They decide to go hunt for treasures (in other words, things that fall from boats/ships). However instead of treasure they find a doll and decide to give it back to the girl who owns it.
I really despised the girl and her mother. 2 strangers come to you and give you back a (soaking) doll and what do you do? Accuse them, and call guards and all that on them... Wait why?
I liked the main girl a lot, she was funny and interesting. I didn't like her friend that much though. Found her a bit to snobby and stuck up.
Will I be reading this series? Yes. I am really interested after reading this and I love mermaid books. :)

I'm kind of glad that this was super short because it was honestly kind of pointless to read. I don't really understand why Girls Day Out had to be a book in this series but I guess if she really wanted it then I can accept it.
So this novella, which is about 30 pages, is about Emma and Rayna hanging about and doing girl stuff throughout the day. At least that was the plan until a girl's doll goes overboard. Then it's all about them trying to give this little girl her doll back.
I do like Rayna and Emma but this was kind of like meh. It was cute and enjoyable. However, I could also have done without reading or knowing it existed. I'm obviously going to continue on with this series and I can't wait to read the next book.

Oh, this was such a fun read, I loved seeing these two and their adventures on a cruise ship!

It's a quick read about Rayna and Emma's outing day as a short story with the addition of Toraf and Galen at the end.
