What a book, my heart sang and broke all at the same time!
I have read all the books in this series and fell in love with them, so I was excited and nervous to have Kiran and Bali's story told. I already had a sneak peek of an overview beforehand so I felt prepared....but nothing prepared me for this.
Everything was done tactfully and respectfully, and despite never going through what this couple had been through, it was still so hard, and their pain felt like mine. Ritu has such a way with words; they envelop you and make you feel safe despite the pain.
When Kiran found her group on the internet, it made me smile, she had a safe haven. Somewhere where she could lay her pain all out for everyone to read. I loved that she had this, a vent, an army of women who supported each other. She needed it after the way Mummy-ji was behaving at times! She made my blood boil!!!!!
I could go on and on and on about this book <3 but I won't spoil anything for you. Have tissues, but be ready to smile at the end.
