This was my first Bachman read. I was very intrigued going in since I know this book has been removed from being published, due to its content. It was also a weird time to read it with current events happening. Over all I thought it was a good story. I think people are more critical than they should be on it.

The book was well written and pretty disturbing. The whole book is from the POV of a teenager who has experienced trauma and is about a school shooting situation. I can understand why it was pulled from the shelves in the 90s, and although it was before Columbine, thats what I kept thinking about while reading. Definite content warning all around for this book.
