I really liked reading the first two parts but struggled getting through the last one. Also, I didn't understand the ending.

I know I am probably in the minority, but I really only got invested after about 75% of the way through.  Then I found the ending abrupt and unsatisfying.  Perhaps that is necessary, given the subject matter and the approach (highly visually symbolic and atmospheric).  A combo of Kafka and Plath.

According to the publishing info, this was originally three "novelettes" now combined into this book.
1) Main characters husband - he's horrible
2) Main characters brother-in-law - he's also horrible
3) Main characters sister - she's just weak and has her own issues.
You don't get anything from the POV of the main character.  She's a vegan, not a vegetarian.
It's just awful. At least it's short.

Allora questo libro è la definizione di 'fever dream', perché ammetto che non ci ho capito tantissimo, ma ho trovato molto interessanti le diverse analisi riguardanti i temi discussi. E' un libro decisamente forte e intenso, ma lo stile è molto ben fatto e interessante. Voglio leggere di più di questa scrittrice, di sicuro.

A short but incredibly captivating book that hooks you. I was unable to stop reading despite the increasingly bizarre and disconcerting events that were taking place. It made me rethink my own desires and if I would ever go too far.
