A slow start. Reads like a kdrama. Ending made me cry and was done so beautifully! One of my favourite reads of this year so far!

This was more of a contemporary romance with magical elements rather than the urban fantasy I was expecting. The pacing is also pretty slow and the blurb does one of my pet peeves where plot points mentioned happen much later in the story (I still haven't gotten there at ~40%).

I had so much fun with this!! I loved the plot and the premise (this is the second book I've read about the fox lore in east Asia)!! I thought the characters were sweet, funny, and wholesome. my biggest issue is something in relation to the

romantic plot, it was insta-love and I hate that so was the reason the book didn't get 5 stars
