Although there is nothing to deduce from this story and the whole thing is most probably a weird dream Goodman Brown had, I still enjoyed Hawthorne's flawless writing style.

I added .5 stars to this, since I can see more interpretations. However, it still runs far too long and the metaphor/imagery is too on the nose to actually absorb myself within the story.

Despite having to read this story so many times in high school and college, I still like this story. It has a good creep factor that gets under my skin each time.
