The same old very Puritan theme. The book, however, was nicely written overall. I appreciate the good writing - the descriptions vivid, the atmosphere morbid yet charming, but the idea is uninteresting to me. The writing impresses me, and so I'll rate it 2 stars, or else I won't really remember this book.

Qué relato tan interesante sobre le época de los juicios de Salem, el bien y el mal, la escala de grises entre los que se mueve todo el mundo y la idealización de las personas. Lo he leído con The Short Story Club y ha sido una delicia poder leer todas las teorías y los comentarios de los participantes, ha sido tremendamente enriquecedor.

Read for school. I do not think I am much of a Hawthorne fan.
