I really liked this dark story of a man’s meeting with the devil and his realisation there’s hypocrisy all around him.

Pretty cool.

w sumie to całkiem niezłe, jednak nie do końca mnie przekonało.

I started reading this in December but only managed to read the first few paragraphs, and I didn't really like it. I gave it another try this weekend and actually finished it (because I need to write an essay about it), and I'm surprised to say that I don't regret it. I loved the story, its mysteriousness, nice foreshadowing that led me to believe something that was later confirmed (I love when that happens), and I especially loved the ending that was left open to interpretation.

Yes, it was quite a dark and sometimes a bit confusing story, but it made me feel like I was watching the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina all over again and I loved that. Now I'm kinda looking forward to rereading it and writing the essay, which doesn't happen often :D

This book was a super religious read, but it opened my eyes that we often view others how we wish to be seen. It was a hard read because of all the symbolism, but it was ok.
slow-paced

Thank you Sondra K and your sin class you are in. Making me desire to re-read this.
