So badly wanted to like this book… I think it was super important topics & genuine insight into childhood stardom but it was quite the jumble organizationally and the prompts/letters to fans felt discombobulated

it is not my place to rate someone’s life story, the writing is incredibly personal and what Madison chose to share in this memoir was her choice completely and as a spectator it is not our place to decide which anecdotes she should share and which she shouldn’t.
i read this book as an audiobook in which madison narrates the story herself, i cried several times while listening to her story. the writing is lovely and the story includes very universal feelings / anecdotes (or at least it did so in my case)
You never know the silent battles people are fighting, even the people you think you’re closest to. You’ll never walk in my shoes, and I’ll never walk in yours.
i love love love madison and have for years and am beyond grateful she chose to share this raw side of her via this book. i would recommend this novel to anyone if im being honest, even if you don’t stream her music. it reminds us all the human side of the artists we have learned to idolize

❛❛ And finally, now that you know some chapters of my life, I hope you're reminded that everyone has a story that you just haven't read yet. Thank you for reading some of mine. ❜❜
