This book is a good memoir and I really enjoy reading about the positives and negatives of the industry. I feel I can relate to some things even if I have never been in her situation exactly.

I adore Madison. So reading this book I got to meet a side of her I haven't experienced yet. She is so loving with the words she writes and definitely makes the world a brighter place. I'm so thankful that I got to experience her love and care. She is so intentional and I definitely recommend reading this if you feel like you're alone in this world.

The book is perfect for fans and those who just want to learn more about how childstars are treated in the entertainment industry es ecially in the internet age. Beer has been through so much in her young life and it's astounding to see how she has grown and learnt from these truly horrific moments. (The fact that no one was prosecuted for distributing a literal child's nudes on the internet is insane) I really hope anyone who participated in the hate against her reads this book and learns some empathy for god's sake. I will hear no bad words. I would honestly love another book by Beer in future her writing style and voice makes the book such an effortless and good read. She also offers so much valuable insight into the industry as a whole.
Graphic: Suicidal thoughts
Moderate: Sexual assault, Sexual harassment
Minor: Pedophilia, Toxic friendship
I learned about this book from listening to Madison’s interview on call her daddy. It makes me sick that so many adults were blind to the fact that Madison was a child when her nudes were leaked and went straight to being critical towards her. It’s awful that people are so willing to be cruel and judgmental to individuals they know nothing about, as if any of us are perfect. Im sad that being treated with this lack of respect and dignity is excused as being “part of the job” for anyone in the limelight. I wish Madison didn’t feel the need to apologize so profusely throughout the book for being sad and hurt just because she experiences privilege. she shouldn’t have to explain herself. We all go through trials and our levels of fame or wealth shouldn’t dictate who gets to complain or not.
