You're gonna tell me this whole book is about her and the guy and his daughter and their grief over the daughters mother dying and all the stuff that comes with it, but when they finally get together, and then eventually engaged, you say absolutely nothing about how the daughter feels about all of it?? Bullshit. Ruined the ending for me.

Story just didn't work for me. I liked the premise and the beginning and appreciated both characters needing to work through their tramas. But keeping the secret THAT far into the book? And announcing what had happened between them, then doing a rewind for the reader SEVERAL times? Nope.
