Graphic: Grief, Suicide, Self harm, Gun violence, Death, Confinement, Injury/Injury detail, and Violence
Moderate: War, Dementia, Medical content, Alcohol, Body horror, and Child death
Minor: Car accident, Murder, Death of parent, Mass/school shootings, Cancer, and Fire/Fire injury
Most of the self-harm serves an in-story purpose, rather than being the result of mental illness. Additional CWs for extreme depictions of life under nuclear attack and trauma when faced with an apocalyptic scenario.akapaldo's review against another edition

This book, despite its more gripping start and final part, did struggle to hold my focus towards the middle (not uncommon for me with his books. They're good, they're interesting, but something about getting from point a to point b is just not hitting with me). By the third part, though, I was back in. When I tell you some of these moments were jaw-dropping....
I also like how well balanced the dual POV is between the main characters. It's hard to pull off well, but for the most part the author makes it look almost easy.
Graphic: Death and Suicide
Moderate: Gun violence

Marcus Slade is the most memorable character for me. I think he’s the smartest of them all.
There’s a lot to keep track of with the shifting timelines, and at some point, even feels exhausting, but I still enjoyed the book a lot. Plus points for the tender and touching moments in the book.
