Audiobook is delightful

Old reviews went missing. How does save not working?

2.5 Stars. It was okay and funny at times.

Audiobook because it is NEIL PATRICK HARRIS.

Format is extremely creative and fun, but a little annoying and silly with multiple fake death chapters. Author reads it very well. I wish other stars had made cameos to read their own letters rather than just one other reader for all.
I understand sexuality is really important to the author’s identity, but it is so graphically over the top, frequent, and extremely defensive and biased against Christians- it gets really old and awkward.

It took me four "routes" before I finally got to How I Met Your Mother, which let's face it has probably brought NPH more wealth and notoriety than Doogie, Harold & Kumar, Smurfs, and the Tony's combined.

NPH has led and continues to lead a charmed life, or at least this book leads you to believe so. Sometimes I had a hard time distinguishing between fact and fiction. I'd like to think that not because I'm a total dingbat, but rather that he moves so quickly between the two.

NPH: Choose Your Own Autobiography probably more than anything confirms that I'm an abstract-sequential thinker, not abstract-random like I once theorized. The nonlinear format stressed me out! I'm still not convinced that I read it in its entirety though I know there were sections I revisited multiple times via Kindle. It would be a couple pages before I was like, hey! this is familiar! haven't I've read this part already? how do I get out of this? where is the table of contents? oh wait! there is none!

Can't say I learned much, but I did laugh along the way.

If you read only one "Choose Your Own Autobiography" this year...read the one by that Kardashian brother. If he still hasn't written it, I suppose this one will do.

It's funny, heart-warming, heart-burning, heart-attacking, and then funny again. Plus it has like 4 magic tricks in it (I'm actually serious about that one). It is really great and even includes a thorough ass kicking.

Just a lot of fun.

Being the same age as NPH, I loved how he chose to write this in a "choose your own adventure" style. While I listened to it, I think it would do better as a physical book, so you can truly experience the CYOA.
