Could not put this down. After reading book one in the series (The Friend Zone) all I wanted for Sloan was happiness. Happiness is complicated when there is also grief. It’s the epitome of the in-between place of “but also.”

I just adore Abby Jimenez’s work especially this book. The writing that isn’t always predictable and doesn’t always have a happy ending and the characters that you just fall in love with and cheer for. Another great one. Would highly recommend this sequel. On audio has to different voices for the different character perspectives so it was easy to follow!
