A tragic love story and grandkids trying to heal the trauma. It’s a good classic read no matter how much my brother hates it.

I don't think I appreciated or understood how precious this book is the first time around, so I am going to read it again soon.

The characters are deeply flawed and unloveable, and that is what makes this book so compelling. If you are looking for a love story, this will likely disappoint you — it’s more about how the actions and selfishness of Heathcliff and Catherine affect those around them well into the next generation. There is such depth and a lot to unpack regarding human nature here. This book was not what I anticipated, but I adore it now.

The start was really hard, I didn’t really get the book. But it grew on me. And now whatever our souls are made of mine and the book are the same

Good things about this book; the setting
Fine things about this book: the writing
Bad things about this book: literally everything else

I hate this book now just as much as I did when I was 15.
The plot sucks, the pacing sucks, and the characters are all insufferable. I GET that it’s the point but I still hate it.
