It doesn’t really feel like anything special, more like a decent lifetime movie. The character development is what keeps you engaged, but the plot is pretty predictable and a bit too sentimental for my tastes.

Classic Kristin Hannah, bringing me to tears. This book devastated me for most of the middle portion. I wanted to shake Lexi and Jude. I felt the ending was what it needed to be and I did end the book feeling hopeful for these characters

I liked it but it did bog down in parts. It seems there was this very long middle and then this rush to the end. She moves in right away? Who would do that?
