This book had me sobbing at 3 in the afternoon

Still really disagree with the direction it took. I don’t think the ending made up for the 40% of the book that was unbearable. Jude is meant to be a complicated character but I was disgusted by her. The way she so easily condemned the life of a girl who foster care had already tormented and neglected her son and granddaughter only to finally wise up 20 pages from the end when she was threatened?? Absolutely not. Also the cliche of one twin dying is probably the worst thing someone who IS a twin can sit and read about for 6 hours.
emotional inspiring sad fast-paced

Appealed deeply to my emotions, sucked me in and did a great job portraying multiple sides of a story or conflict. Made me think about issues in my own life and how we tend to judge others based on their actions instead of their character. But how are the two related...? Interesting questions.

emotional sad medium-paced

This was a really good, yet raw read. Took me too long as I paused to read other books in between. The last 1/4 sped too fast paced for me and I wished it had as much detail as the first 3/4 of the book. Heart wrenching and endearing at the same time.
