Too many scenes that could have been cut. Didn’t like the writing. Liked the setting and the characters and the slow burn. The conflict was not enough for me, not tangible enough to keep reading. I simply lost interest.

It took me a little while to figure out my final thoughts on this one. I think I would have given it a 4 if it was shorter. While the storytelling was great, it felt very wordy. I loved the friendship Ora & Amos built, and I love how music was intertwined.
