Once again, stunning work by Natsuki Takaya! I am loving this re-read and it is reminding me of so many heartfelt moments. There are so many wonderful characters within this series that I cannot wait to see portrayed in the new anime! Highly highly recommend!!!
Right from the start this manga had me hooked. How can you not like Tohru? She has to be one of the sweetest people on the planet. All the hopes of breaking the Sohma curse fall on her head. It was interesting to see the relationships grow and change throughout this series. Not only are the characters great, but the storylines were fantastic, although somewhat depressing at times. This is the one series that everyone should read. It was outstanding.

no matter how many times I read it, this is still one of the toughest volumes and always leaves me in tears (Tohru's nightmare) - it also has some of the most romantic lines ever. it's hard to beat Rin and Haru when it comes to incredibly intense fictional couples.

Another Sohma having to deal with depression and not being accepted by their parents. You would think that by the 14th volume I would be used to this angst, but I'm not. What I am used to though is the somewhat happy ending that each volume has, so that makes the angst and sadness worth it.
