I’m not crazy about gang wars as a theme. There are always too many characters.
I doubt that Huss would be allowed to remain on an investigation involving her husband and the mafia. But we had to just let it go.

Swedish detective Irene Huss and her family deal with the repercussions of a motorcycle gang war in this 10th book in the series--I enjoy the low key procedural aspects of this in comparison to US detectives. The Swedes get hurt, take time off to recover, do a lot of paperwork whenever they shoot anything, drink a lot of coffee and have functional work-life balance with their kids, exes and current partners.

I have enjoyed the Irene Huss character. With this investigation into the gang warfare in Goteborg she once again rises to the occasion. If you like Scandinavian noir this is on the more procedural end of the scale with characters who are not all dark.
