DNF 27%. Wasn’t vibing with it and the 17 year old protagonist was hard to get past.
This was so incredibly long. The first half of the book was boring and whiny and didn’t do any world building.
I enjoyed the world building but hated the Stockholm syndrome romance. Can we stop adding in “romance” between a young girl and an old effing man who’s kidnapped her!? That’s not a creative plot line. Also he spends the entire book treating her like shit and speaking down to her. So much arrogance. So much disrespect.
