Getting Elio’s story was worth it. Loved this read
THIS BOOK!!!
Ripple Effect is the third and final installment of the Coastal University series [crying] and it was such a beautiful book to finish out this series.
Daisy and Elio support each other so well, and help each other come into their own. I love their growth in this story and i LOVE that we got to see Harper, Luca, June, Beck and Kaia again! And Bentley, the star of the show I love him so much!!
Elio and Daisy's love is so soft and sweet, and no two people deserve it more. I love the slow burn of it all, the way their friendship started and grew so strong and beautifully before they decided to take the next step, despite knowing their feelings for each other. Both Elio and Daisy are dealing with a lot of things in their own lives, and I love that they are both so gentle with each other and supportive - they hold space for each other in the most beautiful ways. They truly feel like soulmates, like two people who came into the other person's life at the exact right time.
Congrats to Ki on yet another wonderful book, and the completion of Coastal U <3

This book was recommended in my feeds so many times it felt like it was necessary to read it and I’m so glad I did. Elio has a piece of my heart forever. And Daisy did such a beautiful job of loving him.
I’m not always interested in picking up the rest of a series but I was so drawn in by the other characters I just have to read them all. Feels like found family ❤️

♡ "You lean on me, I lean on you. Remember?" ♡
As I'm nearing the end of this book, I was having a hard time saying goodbye to the story and its characters. Ripple Effect has secured a special place in my heart and I absolutely loved every single moment of reading this. It has Elio, who first appeared in Spring Tide, whose growth as a character is so heartwarming to see. He was a lost kid but with the right people beside him he was able to redeem himself and his journey is something that touched my heart so dearly. Daisy is a character you can't help but love from the very beginning. Her presence in the book provides the light, warmth, and joy that evenly grounds the whole story together. I loved her character very much and I find myself wanting to become her friend because she is so genuine, patient, and kind even to people who don't deserve it.
Elio and Daisy's relationship throughout the book was a mixture of swoony, sexy, romantic, and inspiring journey. The way they were there for each other and how patient they were of each other makes me long for a relationship like theirs. They balance each other out so beautifully and it is so clear that they are each other's anchors and I loved the way they love each other so much.
Ki Stephens has this magic of creating stories and characters that not only you can relate to in some degree, but also create complex, heartfelt stories that are so human and full of nuance. I appreciate the incorporation of topics that are not commonly talked about. Elio's job as a sex worker provided me some insights to what it's like to be a part of that industry. In a sense, it opened my mind about things that I have so little knowledge about and I am glad that I learned something about it. Daisy's family situation hurts my heart because it's hard to imagine that someone like Daisy can have a family that is so detached and so cold to each other and I just want to give her a hug. It's also such a delight and heartwarming thing to see how much Luca and Elio's relationship has healed throughout the years. What Luca said to Elio touched my heart and I cannot help but love these two brothers.
The character cameos from the other books always makes me ecstatic and I love seeing them together! I love this book and the whole Coastal University series so much. They have a special place in my heart.
