this was a perfect end to the Costal U series, DaisyElio were just two pure sunshines trying to navigate being loved and wanting to love each other. the best way to describe the vibe of this book would be a warm hug honestly. the love between these two was just so sweet and genuinely that I spent most of the book in a state of gentle tearing up because they were just everything. Ki always does a great job of creating characters with so much emotional depth that you feel like you've read about the character's entire life instead of just 300 or so pages in their journey. I loved the sunshine duo that was DaisyElio and I think their journey of excepting and finding love in each other was just so heart warming. Their timeline felt real and I loved how their plot played out. Bentley was also a shining star I just adored the little family they made. Highly recommend this series and excited to see what Ki does next!!

this one actually low key disappointed me ngl
- I was so excited for elio and I still like him as a character but I just didn’t fuck with this book
- elio is great - he has layers and depth and is a well written well rounded guy
- Daisy felt like harper 2.0
- I also think that the relationship didn’t move or progress in a way that felt satisfying - I was just expecting something more to happen and it never did
- I don’t hate it but it was just very unsatisfying
- I was so excited for elio and I still like him as a character but I just didn’t fuck with this book

I loved Daisy for Elio. And after book 1 & 2 I wanted him to get his HEA and find his happiness too. I also love how he mended his relationship with Luca.

i have lied. this is my new favorite ki book ever and i am wholly obsessed. daisy and elio have my entire heart and i love them so so much. i was so excited for elio’s book and it blew me away. he is just the sweetest and i love him. he is so supportive and protective of daisy. i loved getting to see him grow and navigate everything and i cannot explain how happy it makes me to see him get his happy ending with daisy. and daisy was so sweet! i loved her so much and the way she gave everything up to be there for elio was so special. she was incredibly selfless and supportive elio while also exploring and learning more about her self. their dynamic is unmatched. i love them so much that i don’t really have to words to express it. this book was so soft and beautiful and i can’t get enough of it. this is now my comfort book and i will never get over it.

Why does it feels like the author wrote this book in a rush??
I feel like a lot of important moments were cut off or poorly written. Even though the start of the relationship wasn't love at first sight it did felt like it. We didn't get a cute or believable meet up.
And tell me why the male character (who had a very heavy backstory wich wasn't very well treated in my opinion), never had a character development. All of the sudden towards the end of the book we get this big "twist" and boom end of story we don't talk about it anymore. LIKE IF HE WASN'T TALKING ABOUT IT THE WHOLE DAMN BOOK!!
