pub day which means review time *YAY*

oh wow. i've been waiting for this book for what seems like forever and it did not disappoint one bit. ki has the ability to truly make me feel all my emotions on such a deep level and this book proved just that.

ripple effect was a beautiful story about self discovery. it was so heartfelt and refreshing to read a story about two complex but sweet characters. it was just two people being in love and caring about one another. i think this book is a perfect example of someone coming into your life at the exact time they need. elio and daisy needed one another at this point in time and were able to rely on one another for emotional support. it was beautiful.

i think what this book did so well was prioritize and shed light on the reality of sex workers and the toll it takes on them. but it also doesn't diminish and shame the job. elio is such a beyond sweet guy who was delt a bad hand, but he grew from his past and was able to make amends. i loved seeing the scenes with him and luca, it was very touching seeing their relationship grow.

overall this is absolutely by far my favorite book from ki. this one really had me in my feelings and i couldn't probably babble on for hours about how much i loved this book.

thank you ki for the arc <3

"you lean on me, i lean on you"

first off.. thank u ki for the arc!! second off.. THIS BOOK? daisy and elio are honestly my fav book couple, possibly ever?? third off.. HE CALLS HER DAISY GIRL???
i will always stand by the fact that im a sucker for the way ki writes and how she always includes disability rep. wether its learning disability or in elios case, a physicial one. i love how she describes her scenes too, it helps me imagine the scenes in a way that i often struggle to. also, we love to see bentley thriving!!!

AT THE END OF THE SERIES WOOOOO WE DID ITTTT. i have a few thoughts so i think i need to take it back to when elio appeared in luca’s book and at that point i wasn’t too fond of elio then obvs i wasn’t gonna b too hard due to obvious reasons but that slowly changed as we got towards the end of his book and into kaia’s book, i knew i would eventually love his character but i didn’t expect it so soon and now onto his book, i genuinely don’t think he could have a better one, i absolutely adore him and daisy and this review is not enough to truly encapsulate how amazing it has been to read him from luc’s to his but it’s a testament of how amazing his character development he is. he truly is a undercover sunshine, the sweetest and deserves the absolute best and i’m glad he got that ending bc there’s no one else better deserving. i feel so highly ab sunshine characters so for daisy to be the sunshine of sunshines, a descendent of harper if you will, i loved to see her journey from her breakup from her nasty ex and her self discovery and i loved how we got both their individual development - with daisy in the sense of finding herself and what she’s comfortable and eli’s with his past addiction and his condition, whilst also having their lives intertwined, it was such an incredible read and it was a very amazing and well rounded way to end the series and i’m so so satisfied. it’s jus something about the reynolds siblings, i will always 5 star it, they jus hav a way to grip the reader and their so as well anyways love the little bits w daisy knowing harper and them both being cape casserat girlies n harper being her babysitter jus chefs kiss n jus reading ab luc n tay was very lovely and wholesome. their sibling dynamic was sooo well written i love reading ab how complex they are whilst still being there for each other at the end of the day
