Loved this so much. What a tumultuous and difficult thing it is to grow up and learn! And how sad to leave your innocent and carefree childhood behind. I found mostly everything relatable, such as the desire to be someone you’re not, to dream, to analyze everything, to be conceited sometimes in thinking that everyone is thinking about you, to be humiliated by something that was your fault in front of others, and on and on, so I empathized with the main character throughout the trilogy. It’s a beautiful narrative that made me feel sad and contemplative sometimes, and amused at other times. What will stay with me the most are Tolstoy’s inspiring descriptions of nature which were so refreshing! When I closed my eyes, I could imagine myself in every setting. I am so glad I read this!!
