this book was sweet, the characters were loveable and had great development. fox is so down bad for hannah it’s cute, but he took way too dang long to admit his feelings. stubborn man. i think the chemistry between these two was so good, but i preferred the first novel better

Can’t say I liked this more or less than book 1 but I can definitely say Piper and Brendan from the first book had better characterisation. However, I liked the main conflict of this book and the difficult push and pull before the resolution. It felt pretty realistic and I liked that the pacing was a lot less manic. The love scenes did not get better and I found myself just skipping them entirely. 😂

i’ve been anticipating this book since i read IHOS in september & it did not disappoint. tessa bailey did an amazing job of depicting fox’s issues and hannah’s way of helping him to overcome them.

the written chemistry between hannah and fox was completely undeniable in IHOS and it was excellently followed through into their own story. the last 40% of the book cemented the rating at 5 stars as it was the part of the story where hannah and fox’s relationship really had me hooked and rooting for their happy ending.

this is definitely my favourite of the two bellinger sisters books and i’ll be rereading this over and over!
