SpoilerI really like Hannah, I really like Fox. I thought it was a great friends to lovers concept.
But I take serious issue with Fox being like "my dad liked to have s*x with a bunch of women and that was very toxic to me" I mean maybe I'm ignoring an overarching theme of toxic masculinity, but I feel like if that's the case, there was a better way to convey that with deeper concepts.

.
Otherwise just a solid Tessa Bailey read.

When ladies man Fox walks Hannah to the local fishing town’s record store to play interference for his captain Brendan, he didn’t expect that small trip to change his life forever.

The attraction between these two is unstoppable and we definitely all saw it coming from a mile away. What I didn’t expect — falling hopelessly in love along the way too with their journey to trust and be honest with one another.

Definitely one I’ll recommend in the future.

Tropes include:
Friends to Lovers
Forced Proximity
Almost fake dating/make a crush jealous

I definitely didn’t enjoy this one as much as the first one. I think it was because it was a little too long and then when we finally got to the spicy parts it wasn’t my thing. I also kind of found the characters a bit obnoxious in their issues and cheesy. But I still kept coming back and did think it was worth reading. I love me a good Tessa Bailey sex scene for the most part ;)
