Another great series has begun by Sawyer Bennett. Bishop has moved to Arizona with a brand new hockey team. They haven't yet begun to the season so he known to Brooke. They are a perfect one night stand. No complications. Lots of great sex for just one night never to be seen again.

A day of firsts--First day for the Vengeance to meet together-Bishop walks the hall. First day to for Brooke to meet the team. First day for Bishop to see the Coach. First day of a fake engagement after the Bishop and Brooke get hot and heavy and her dad, the coach, walks in. Could it get more complicated? YES!!!! And I loved every detail.

WHY HELLO HOCKEY PLAYERS!

Bishop was a great starter for the Arizona Vengeance series. In it, you will meet the man on the cover: Bishop. He's excited to be on this team and doesn't waste any time getting to know the night life of this new city. After an amazingly hot, seductive, and addicting nights of his life, aka his own night stand, well.. he's in for the shock of his life. DUN DUN DUN!

His one night was with the one girl who is completely off limits, the coaches daughter. Brooke comes to her father's side after quitting her life, career, and basically everything else to be in Arizona. Of course, her one night stand shocked her too because it changed her life. It made Arizona a heck of a lot better than it was before.

Of course, things kind of get out of hand when her dad walks in on them kissing. Then Brooke comes up with this whole plan about them being engaged. Again, a bit quick and all because wouldn't her dad know if she was dating someone or not? If not, meh.. he doesn't pay enough attention. However, I also wanted to see how this was all going to play it. Even if it will end up being predictable.

Now the romance was so good! I loved it - mostly because I just loved Bishop and Brooke. Their love story was so fast paced that I had to slow down before I ended up missing something important. I also really enjoyed how this book ended because I can't wait to dive into the second book now!

Bishop and Brooke are to die for! I cannot get enough of them and the team! Sawyer always does hockey right!

I loved how this book is starting the new series off! There is the romance and the heat! My god, the heat! There is enough to melt the ice in the arena! There was drama in the best of ways. Also getting a glimpse into the other players and what we can look forward to in the next books!!!

Brooke is starting out in her new career in Arizona and decides to go out and meet a new co-worker and is stood-up. Bishop comes to the rescue when a guy gets a little too forward at the bar and they hit it off. And by hit it off, I mean burn up the pages with a steamy one night stand.

Bishop is getting ready to start the new season with the new franchise team, the Arizona Vengeance, and it hoping to make a great impact and play some killer hockey. He has high hopes for his new team and wants nothing more than to go after the cup!

The last thing either of them expected was to walk into work the next day and see each other again - Bishop as the player and Brooke as the "boss". Her father, the teams coach, walks in and finds them in a intimate embrace and Brooke flubs that they are dating... no, not just dating... but ENGAGED! Bishop decides to go along with it and they create this story of how they met and their fairy tale romance... much to others chagrin.

Once again, Sawyer delivers a story that is so much more!

What happens when the one night stand that you met at a bar happens to be the daughter of your brand new coach? You create a fake engagement!!! This book was simply adorable. The characters of Bishop and Brooke not only had great interactions but they instantly became the perfect couple. The storyline had me hooked from the opening pages and the ending could not have been more romantic. This book should not be missed.

I thought this was a good read! The writing flowed well, and I thought the characters were developed nicely. Bishop and Brooke had great chemistry, and I thought they were good together. I wished Brooke would have had a little more backbone. She let Nannette walk all over her, and Bishop had to be the one to do anything about her. The only thing I would have liked would have been an epilogue. I know this is going to be a series, but I still would have liked a little bit of a longer look into their future. This was a first for me from this author, but it won't be my last.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.

[a:Sawyer Bennett|6950682|Sawyer Bennett|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1606922071p2/6950682.jpg] has me hooked again!

Bishop and Brooke and well thought out characters that compliment each other. Brooke was passionate, kind, and a charming leading lady. Bishop was focused and deliberate with a very soft spot for moms. Both characters were endearing and east to root for.

I really appreciated the simplicity this story had, as there was not much will they/wont they going on. The characters were communicate with each other and once they said how they felt, it was clear how things would proceed. I really liked that they were both emotionally mature enough to not dance around how they felt.

The spicy scenes were mid-spicy and the love story was pure and sweet. I like my spicy books to be very very spicy and dark but this is a well written and enjoyable book!

I never thought I would be learning so much about hockey but SB really put a lot of information about hockey in this book, and it made the book more interesting. Goal!

I can't wait to read the rest of the series!

Why do I like hockey romances so much when I know nothing about the sport? Couldn't have anything to do with the looker on the cover, could it?

Bishop & Brooke have a one night stand and the next day find out he is on the team her father coaches, which happens to be the team she's now working for. She accidentally tells her father that they are engaged, which sets forth a fake relationship.

Quite a bit of steamage right out of the gate and throughout and I didn't hate it. Their chemistry was on point!

I loved them both. He had a great relationship with his mom, wasn't all into puck bunnies and shot it down when someone tried to take a shot at him. Brooke was really sweet, too sweet really and had trouble speaking up, but not so sweet in the bedroom
