I really wanted to like this book. Crowley and Aziraphale made it interesting and funny. I loved their humor and banter. What made me stop reading was the switching of POV away from those two characters and the main events that took place with the antichrist and losing the baby and having to find the lost prince of darkness.

There is too many different storylines, (and I'm sure they will all converge and make sense later on) but I just couldn't find those parts interesting and engaging and lost interest.

Listened to the Audio Book during rainy mornings and nights which added to the ambience. Enjoyed it so much I would sit in the car a little longer just to listen to more. I look forward to listening the BBC version.

A very English book. This book was very funny at times, and the last ~100 pages or so I absolutely blasted through because the climax pacing was just right. Big fan of some of the characters and their interactions, e.g. Crowley and Azriphale or the Four Horsemen with each other and the delivery guy. It took a little while to warm up to the witchfinder's association but by the end I could tolerate the Sergeant and liked Newt and his car (and Madame Tracy and i'm-not-like-other-witches Anathema). Generally though I found reading about the Them and Adam to be a bit of a drag until the last chapter. Definitely my favorite Neil Gaiman read so far (probably because the book isn't just by Gaiman)
