Kdybych aspoň nebyla taková citlivka... proč nemůžu přestat brečet?
Myslela jsem, že hrozný konec bude, když Day umře. Tenhle je ale ještě horší.

I don't want to give this book as much credit as its predecessors. It wasn't as good. I got extremely bored, but I was determined to finish. And I did. I can say, once the news was revealed it got slightly predictable. If you asked me about the plot of this book, I couldn't tell you. I'm not even sure what the climax was. Overall, I ended up enjoying it, but it took a lot to get to that point.

Boooooo!!!! Nonsense plot! Nonsense ending! Can you believe i somehow read this twice? It wouldn't matter because i still dont remember anything from these books. I swear hearing june talk about how she needs to be "logical" all of the time makes the story feel extremely juvenile, not only because her choices suck, but because only children think of intelligence in that way (rather than focusing specifically on the problem). This feels like a story me and my friends would have written at age 12. Two thumbs down.

I'm not sure how to rate this. Maybe it's something near a 3.57? I don't know, I'll have to think about it for a while.

This is probably the best conclusion to a series that I've read in a long time. It wasn't predictable like [b:Last Sacrifice|6527740|Last Sacrifice (Vampire Academy, #6)|Richelle Mead|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1319850978s/6527740.jpg|13385418], nor did it take way too long to reach its climax like [b:Allegiant|18710190|Allegiant (Divergent, #3)|Veronica Roth|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1383330038s/18710190.jpg|15524549], even though the ending was my favorite part in both cases.

In some ways Champion was better than the previous books. The romance which I never even thought would be a part of the series in Legend and then found unconvincing in Prodigy , improved a lot. The characters acted more like companions before but now I can actually see them as a romantic couple, even though they aren't my favorite pairing.
Day and June were also both a lot easier to relate to. They've grown throughout the series and I'm going to miss them.

I applaud Marie Lu for brilliant world building and making the other books in the genre seem like nothing. Usually in dystopian books, there's always something that doesn't seem to make sense or that I don't understand. But everything was crystal-clear and so interesting to read about.

This book was a lot less action packed than the rest of the trilogy, but it still has a fair amount of things that will have you turning the pages twice as fast just so you can see what happens next.
Sometimes I do wish it would've been more fast paced, but most of the dialogue and other things that happened were important to the story.

As for the ending.. It was great. More than great. It gave me the feeling of closure and satisfaction. And that's exactly what a great ending should do.
If you haven't picked the first book up yet, I highly recommend you do. It's fun, full of action and overall a very well written trilogy.
