Really love this series. It's interesting to see what's changed in the new TV show compared to the books. I have absolutely no issues with the changes, and think I prefer what they've done with the characters in the show (Angie excluded so far). This particular title in the series was especially difficult and fascinating to read. The back stories for Amanda and Evelyn are intense, and I hope we get more in later books.

Kept me company on a camping trip where I didn't know anyone else and was engrossing enough for me to never feel awkward about sitting in a corner with my book which is a win.

I really enjoyed this. Slaughter has evidently distilled the essence of 'Life on Mars' (UK Version) for the early seventies sections and that is not a bad thing. Wish Sky would buy up the tv series.

I think one of my favorite books so far. I loved learning more about Will’s life, Amanda Wagner & the progression of his relationship with Sara.
