This is a component of a course for my masters degree. This book was succinct and shared the realities of running a small public library from several angles. The book was informative and the material felt authentic to my time working in a small public library and some of the issues and concerns we worked through as a staff.

Clear, personable, and well-written. Frankly a lot more readable than most of the library management texts I've read! There are a lot of real-life examples and stories to demonstrate the concepts that the text discusses, the ideas are useful, and I daresay I even enjoyed reading some of it. Pleasantly surprising!
