i miss the very first time i read this book because i went SO insane when they
went in the PathFinder and FLEW it to the eastern snowplains and practically went to space. flight is a miracle and next time im on a plane i'm going to appreciate it because it's so crazy that it's a real thing we can do
ANYWAY. back to actually talking about the book. the ancient ways are so cool and i do like that in this trilogy we get to 1. see more of the world 2. hear a little bit about the days of beyond but even so there's something missing and i can't love them as much as the original series. perhaps they are less silly. SPEAKING OF SILLY. and the sh characters being less silly because they're adults. no beetle at ALL in this one:( which i only realized because i was catching up on my sandrider review and remembered that marcia wasn't in that at all. also
how did they get the pathfinder back from the heart of the ways...??? because they didn't fly it back...??? or bring it through the ways? i suppose they could have taken the ways back then flown it back. i guess. doesn't dampen my enjoyment but i was wondering. also are orms functionally extinct now?
