What a delicious ending

This one wasn’t as good as the others. A little on the slow side, if you ask me. But I pushed through and finally finished it. It was good. I’m so glad I started this series. Rosalie and her four horsemen caused a little chaos but the story mainly revolves around them getting back to some normalcy.

I liked that this book had a lot of serious issues. But at the same time I feel that at some point it just became...tooo much in a very short period of time. I'm a sucker for a tortured heroine but this was a little much. And I really get that there was a LOT that went on between these characters but the evolution of these characters just made me cringe a little. I didn't care for the ending results compared to the beginnings. Fox becomes a background character almost. Enzo becomes the alpha leader. Ethan is no longer his sweet self and Cole is obsessed with revenge. Even Rosalie becomes a bit mean towards the end. I get that they have been through a lot and that everything seems to be thrown at them. But I feel that they have lost themselves a bit by the end.
Also, after everything the guys still constantly keep lots of secrets from Rosalie this book. Its annoying and frustrating. The same conversations get repeated. The issue with Juliet never really gets resolved until the last 10 pages of the book. And it just seems so unsatisfying to me. Throughout the book she is constantly a badger and blight upon their relationship and its always 'we will take care of it'. But aside from idle threats NOTHING is ever done until the very end. And by then I feel like it maybe could have been handled a bit better? If they did something perhaps sooner then things wouldn't have escalated so far. ...but I suppose then we wouldn't have had need for so many books then.

Not going to lie: chapel crest was my first KG Reuss series and I fell in love with it. Decided to read the whole interconnected universe. The first 2 books of this series hooked me and I ate up every word, but struggled with the last two books and everything just felt repetitive and no major character growth.

Still going to finish out the chaos universe and want to see how these characters stories develop with their college storyline and how all the series interconnect with each other

This is the final book in this series and it's pretty non-stop from start to finish. There is a lot happening and the MCs don't catch many breaks.

wow

Wow

This is amazing read that had me on the edge of my seat. This story is dark and sweet with these alpha male. This is a dark bully high school read that shows the strong people that have issues and fight to make it out of their dark minds..

Let chaos reign

Picking up almost immediately after book 3, In Chaos is an excellent conclusion to Black Falls High that leaves you desperate for more Horsemen.

This holds up brilliantly on a reread. The story deals with the aftermath of the end of book 2 - the resulting trauma and recovery that Rosie and Ethan particularly go through. The second part of the book deals with the crew as they make decisions about their futures individually and collectively that will impact them all - as well as dealing with a couple of unresolved threats.

The entire series is highly recommended, especially if you like your romance on the charcoal side with extra crunchy trigger warnings.
