Lady Grace cavendish is a maid of honour to Queen Elizabeth rhe 1st who makes it her mission to investigate mysteries around the palace. The story was a little slow but the depiction of Tudor life was interesting to read about, particularly all the ways the palace works. I enjoyed the classic mystery structure it followed and enjoyed the diary format that made you really feel you were reading Grace’s thoughts. A fun little read 😄
