My rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ [4/5]

How have I only just discovered this author??? This book was so addictive and I was hooked throughout. I loved the characters and the plot and could not put it down.

This is the first book I’ve read in this series and I can’t wait to read the others. There was a part midway through which I thought I had predicted perfectly but I was so wrong, this man is a genius! I loved Eddie and then grew to love Kate as well.

The only reason this didn’t quite get to 5 stars for me is because of the ending as it didn’t surprise me and I found a few parts a bit far fetched but that might just be my perception!

@sscav you are brilliant and incredibly talented! A new favourite author on my list!

Not sure how I feel about this book. I enjoyed it but I'm not sure how much to rate it out of 5.

This book has been on my TBR since I started reading and once I found it I was excited to read it. I enjoyed the idea of the book but there were some moments where it had me guessing but there were some parts where is was just dragging on. There was also a lot of characters that I had to keep track of which by the end got confusing.

Kate annoyed me after a while I don't know what it was about her character but I just didn't like her.

It was also difficult to read in some places because when the characters pov changed each chapter everyone was in third person while Eddie's was in first person which made it difficult to read.
I enjoyed the she chapters because of the way they did it that there was no clear way to tell which of the sisters the chapter was about and the details they did include were something that had happend to both sisters.

This book was really good. You think you know what's going on but realize that you just might not. Then again, maybe you do!
A father is dead. His two daughters are both suspects and will go to trial. The question is, "Who did it?". Both have motives, both were there, and both called 911.
This is very well written and so much fun to go along on the journey with Eddie and Kate. The way the trial plays out is perfect. I don't want to give anything away about this book so I'll just tell you that you definitely should read it.
I believe this is something like book #5 in a series but you really don't have to read the books before it. I didn't read all of them but didn't feel I was in the dark about anything as I read.
The only thing I didn't love was a bit of a Hollywood ending at one point but I still really enjoyed the book.
