I'm hoping my grandson will be as delighted with this book as I am. Can't wait 'til we get to the laughing page....

I loved how this house cat held his ground with the larger cats and kept insisting he was one of the them. When they actually stopped to compare themselves they figured out that they weren't that much different.

April 2018 - Ben, fan of cats, was really into this. It slides in great information about what makes a cat a cat, and the illustrations are great.

We liked the story and seeing how Simon compared to the big cats.

I really liked this picture book! A great blend of fiction and information about cats. A house cat is laughed at because the wild cats do not think he is a "real" cat. Would make a great read aloud for elementary children and good introduction to animal categories (what makes a cat a cat, a dog a dog, etc).
