Compared to the new couple in 10b, close your eyes and count to 10 was just ok. I felt that the focus of the story felt a bit all over the place, with none of the plot lines being given enough thought. The characters also were all so annoying that I wished they all didn’t make it out at the end. I was rather disappointed by the whole novel honestly.

This was so predictable 🙄 I literally figured out all the major plot twists before it was revealed.
I didn’t like most people in here, they were just so annoying and not redeemable. I don’t understand how Mavericks business partners and aka friends can call him a terrible person(even though he is terrible) but they were right along with him doing the same shit, makes no sense to me.
Also who killed Alex??? It’s just up in the air at the end, they say who they speculated killed Alex but it’s not a definitive answer.
Also I thought since they were playing hide and seek, that the players were going to be getting picked off one by one and I was so disappointed when I realized that’s not the case. I feel like if the author would’ve went that route, I would’ve enjoyed this more.
Everything is all over the place, it was definitely not enough suspense in here, and honestly the title doesn’t match this book at all. Like why are their multiple POVs with multiple storylines, it was completely unnecessary and took away from the initial plot.
Only reason this got two stars is because it was fast paced enough to keep my interest.
