I didn't finish this book I skim-read and skipped to the ending. It was too predictable and corny, to the extent where I could not continue reading after about page 240. Nicholas Sparks you disappointed me with this one (I realise it was really old, I got it in a second hand book store). The plot was too predictable, the grief didn't affect me and the characters were a little weak. Wouldn't recommend this one to fans of the amazing love stories that are The Notebook, The Last Song etc... this one just didn't hit the spot.

This book is sad. Nicholas sparks has a lot of sad love stories where it doesn’t always end perfect for the two lovers. It’s a good story but I was left wishing for that happy ending!
This was a great book. I loved the story. I'm loking forward to reading more books by Nicholas Sparks.
Oh my god.
Didn't even finished the book.
Such a pain to read.
Which is weird 'cos I usually enjoy a good Nicholas Sparks.
But this one was a no go.

Spoilers.
I must say, this book was going along fine until he fricken dies! WTF? He's finally got his life in order and things are going well for he, so clearly he needs to be killed off. I find Nicholas Sparks books predictable, so I haven't been able to get through a number of them. This one was good, but very depressing at the end - unnecessarily so, I thought.

I really liked this book but I literally threw it across it the room when I finished it because I hated the ending.
