Beauliflly written, nice to listen to, upsettingly relatable, conclusion felt like it was half the book

An amazing and important book. I am in awe of Chanel Miller’s sophistication, raw honesty, and bravery. This book was hard to listen to (I have the audiobook) most of the time because she is so forthright about the hell she endured at the hands of a rapist, Stanford University, and the judicial system. However, her message of empathy to other victims and survivors blew me away and made me so so grateful for this book.

There has been no book that I am emotionally and physically unable to read. But this I have to take a break from.
I want to listen but maybe at a later time.
