Absolutely phenomenal book! Flew through this book and it was just what I needed to get me out of my reading slump. Spice level

OVERVIEW: Abby leaves her hometown for Alaska to begin working for a new Wolf Hotel location and is recently become single. After meeting her new boss and the owner of the Wolf Hotel industry, things take a turn for the best (and worst) as she learns her new position at the hotel.

RATING: 12/10
SPICE: 4/5

MY THOUGHTS: I could not put this book down. The relationship between Abby and Henry was so good and it was like I was constantly wanting more from them. Henry changed Abby for the better and really made her grow up and realize what she deserves from people that are in her life.

Wanted to explore K.A. Tucker and was not disappointed. :)

This was pretty good. Abbi is looking for a distraction from her life and goes to Alaska for once in a lifetime job offer. She makes some friends and starts a secret relationship with the CEO of the hotels she is working for. Pretty good story and plot.

This book is essentially 50 Shades - Alaskan Style. I have to admit, I love the location. I’d definitely stay at the Wolf Hotel.

If comparing the two books, I think this is definitely a lighter read than 50 Shades. Not that that’s bad, I just prefer something a bit heavier. I also think I prefer Christian to Henry and Abbi to Ana, personality-wise. We’ll see if that changes as we get to know the characters more.

I enjoyed this book and it was a quick read. There’s something to be said for that. Looking forward to seeing where the story goes.

This story is stereotypical, it's cliché, it's 50 shades-ish, and I was surprised how much I enjoyed it.

Fresh from the bible belt, farm country comes a naïve virginal young woman, who falls into the arms of a man who is a bit of a player. We have hints of who Henry really is underneath all that magnetism and charisma. He runs hot and cold, so it's often hard to get a read on him.
"I like confident women, and I think beneath all this insecurity, there's a strong, self-assured woman." Leaning into plant a soft kiss on the side of my neck, he adds in a murmur, "and I can't wait until you let me see her."
It felt at times like I was reading about college dorm life with everyone hooking up, all inhibitions gone. There were scenes between two women (not the h) and open conversations about sex in general. This book reads like a sexual coming of age story.

I’m excited to have a four book series with the same characters! On to book two...

I need to quit trusting tiktok for book Recs. This bored
Me to tears. Best part was the smut and it wasn’t even that good. I’m super sad

okay, wow, wtf? i was not expecting to get hooked into this as quickly as i did. abbie’s character is so cute, i love how much her character grows over a seemingly short time period. and henry? he’s a babe. a semi-toxic, possessive, lumberjack babe

I really liked the story, but just couldnt fall for the main character. Really enjoyed the spice scenes where she was creeping on others, but that was about it!
